Brand refresh
Same name, same core idea. We modernise the logo, tighten the colours and type, and make everything consistent. Best when people already know you and the brand just looks dated.
A rebrand should make your business easier to choose, not harder to find. We handle the whole job from Blair Athol for businesses across Adelaide and Australia: the strategy, the new logo and identity, the website, and the rollout. We also protect the Google rankings and reviews you've already built.
Most businesses outgrow their first brand. The logo was done quickly at launch, the name no longer fits what you sell, or the business has moved upmarket and the look hasn't followed. Sometimes it's a merger, a new owner, or a name that's too easily confused with a competitor.
Not every problem needs a full rebrand, though. Often a refresh that tidies the logo, colours and type while keeping what customers already recognise does the job for less. We'll tell you honestly which one you need. Our guide to rebranding your business covers the signs, the steps and the mistakes to avoid.
The bigger the change, the more it costs and the more there is to roll out. Start with the smallest change that fixes the real problem.

A new look and voice, or a new sub-brand for a product or service line, while the business name stays. Best when you've changed who you serve or what you offer.
A new name or a complete new identity, rolled out everywhere at once. Best after a merger or ownership change, a legal name conflict, or when the old brand is holding the business back.
We recently put our own business through the same process we use for clients. The name was shortened from Wemark Technologies to Wemark Tech, with a new logomark and wordmark. The new palette is Wemark Navy, Dusty Teal, Light Green and Cloud White, with Avenir Next type.
Before committing, we mocked up three different website designs in the new identity and chose one. We then rolled it out across this website, the favicon and app icons, and the image that appears when the site is shared on social media.
What we didn't change matters just as much. The domain and every page address stayed the same, so the search visibility the site had already earned carried straight over. We also kept the business name consistent across the website, structured data and our Google Business Profile.

We review your current brand, website, Google presence and competitors, and agree whether you need a refresh or a rebrand.
Who you're for, what you stand for and how you should sound. That gives the design work a clear brief.
We design the logo, colours, type and brand book, with two rounds of revisions so you end up with something you're proud of.
We update the website, assets, Google Business Profile and listings, set up redirects if anything moves, and launch together.
A brand refresh or a new identity for a small business starts with our Brand package at $500. That covers the logo, a complete brand book, the colour and type system, usage rules, social templates, a business card and email signature, and the app icon set. The Brand + Website package at $1,500 adds a custom, mobile-first website so the new brand launches everywhere at once.
Bigger rebrands, such as a new business name, multiple locations or a large website, are quoted after a short scoping call so you see the full price before any work starts. See all three packages on our logo and branding page, or read what a logo costs in Australia.

Read articleIt doesn't have to. Most of the risk comes from changing web addresses or the domain without redirects, and from inconsistent business details across the web. We keep URLs where we can, set up 301 redirects where we can't, and update your Google Business Profile, directory listings and structured data together.
A refresh is quicker than a full rebrand with a new name and website. We agree a timeline with you at the audit stage, before any work starts, so you know what to expect and can plan the launch.
Often a refresh is enough: keep the recognition you've built and modernise how it looks. If the name itself is the problem, or the business has fundamentally changed, a full rebrand is worth it. We'll give you an honest recommendation either way.
Only if the current name is genuinely holding you back. That could be a name that's confusing, too narrow for what you now offer, too similar to a competitor, or one you can't protect. A new name costs more to roll out and to rebuild awareness, so we'll talk it through before you commit.
Not always. If your current site is solid, we can apply the new brand to it. If it's slow, dated or hard to update, a rebrand is a good moment to rebuild, and our website development team does that in-house.
